Jade is 5 months old today!
This little girl makes me so happy! I love her so much! She brings so much joy to our little family. I thank God every day for blessing me with this little girl.
I am just loving being a mom. Yes, of course there are times when it can be a bit challenging (getting up every 2 hours at night is a bit rough at times), but seriously, motherhood is the best thing in the world!
Jade is now 15 lbs and is wearing 6 month and 9 month outfits. We started putting her in her high chair and she loves it! I am guessing she likes the view from a different height. She is a great cooking buddy now.
She thinks packets of tissues and little boxes of Dots candy are the best toys ever. She rolls from her back to belly all the time-changing her diaper and outfit is very challenging because she rolls and wiggles so much. She does a funny "inchworm" move. While on her belly, she'll get on her toes, poke her bum way up in the air, and push her face into the floor. Then she flattens and does it again, causing her to "inchworm" her way forward. It is so funny to watch. :)
When Jade gets excited, she'll start kicking her legs and waving her arms. And right before she falls asleep, she'll start to "talk". We call it her sleepy talk. It is hilarious because when we hear it, we know she is about to zonk out.

She's so darling! Don't you love how goofy babies are? Lilly loves it when we wrap her in a blanket and swing her, too. Motherhood IS the best!
