A run in the Dark

- Lance typing - So Saturday night was the women's conference. Samantha and Jade went with Grandma Nielsen to go watch it (and left Daddy all alone). What does daddy do when he is all alone? He cuts the sleeves off more old t-shirts to use them as gym shirts and jumps on the tramp. The girls got home around 8:30 pm.  Samantha went back to her parents house to get her gym cloths so we could go to the gym while Grandma watched her.  We were still in the drive way ready to head to the gym when Grandma calls my phone and all we can hear is "waa, waa, waaaa" Jade had woken up and she was not into the whole gym idea. So, Samantha went back in and fed her and calmed her down.  The gym closes at 10 pm on Saturdays so by the time we got there now, we'd have only 10 minutes to work out. So, instead of going to the gym we went for a run in the dark.  We ran up to Park Lane elementary school and did a bunch of pull-ups and push ups on the play ground.  Samantha is super silly cuz as we are getting ready to start our run she says, "Don't leave me." (K so Samantha thinks that I'm in really good shape or something and I guess when I run she is afraid that I'll hit some silly speeds and just leave her in the dust to be picked up by some dude in a painted van) yeah right, my side cramps up as soon as we make it to the first hill and Samantha is just talking away during our run and going on and on about her fitness goals and I can't breath, she'll ask me questions and my responses are "Eh huh" and  "Nn's" (more Nn's and less Eh huh's as the run went on, Eh huh took too much oxygen). It was fun though.  Samantha is quite impressive, she has only been de-babied for 3 months and she can do 6 pull-ups.  Props to that crazy asian woman :) Well there you have it, our run in the dark. It was awesome, for sure we'll have to do it again.
